In the press release the Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism Spyros Galiatsatos says, "The Ionian Islands Regional Administration is collaborating with the airline in the advertising campaign so that the service can become established - a long-time request from the local community.

It can be seen from the above that the Regional Administration is responding to the needs of the islands' tourist market and the residents - leading to 2019 being yet another record year for our islands which will in turn lead to economic and social development."
