Father of dead woman confesses!

As previously reported in Enimerosi, based on information given to the police, the father of the young woman was quickly considered to be the main suspect in this brutal crime. As the investigation proceeded, their suspicions were confirmed when the father confessed. Charges were then drawn up against him.

The 28-year-old Aggelina Petrou from Berat in Albania had gone missing on Wednesday morning. A friend reported the disappearance to the police, who quickly took action based on information from the friend and other people who knew her and discovered her body in Alepou on Wednesday evening.

Her body was buried behind the house where her father lived and was removed with assistance from the Fire Service and taken for an autopsy to be conducted. According to initial evidence, there were comminuted fractures caused by a sharp object. The father was arrested and taken to the police station, where he confessed to the crime.
