Acharavi residents protest about the rubbish again

CORFU. From one end of the island to the other people are protesting.
Not having seen any progress in the matter of refuse collection Acharavi residents and business owners took to the roads again to protest about the unbelievable piles of rubbish that have collected in the area. The Deputy Mayor for Cleansing Services Spyros Kaloudis was invited and he listened to the residents' complaints and told them that the Municipality intended to use private contractors to clear up the rubbish tip that has built up at the entrance to the village.
