CORFU. Kanoni residents blocked the road on Thursday evening as a gesture of protest.
"It's a matter of health, and above all our children's health. The situation has become unbearable - for months now we haven't been able to go outside," said Spyros Kardamis, a local resident.
The residents who came together to protest decided to hold daily protests until the problem is solved and their neighbourhood is cleaned up.
