Talk by Belgian philhellene Jimmy Jamar at the Reading Society

CORFU. Corfu Reading Society is organizing an event on Saturday 20 October at 19:30 with guest speaker the Belgian philhellene Jimmy Jamar.
The title of the talk - which will be in French - is "L'Europe, notre avenir?" (Europe, our future?). Following the talk there will be an open discussion with the audience.
Jimmy Jamar is the head of the European Commission Representation in Belgium. Every year he organizes an event in Brussels "12 hours for Greece" and with the proceeds he comes to Greece and buys heating oil which he distributes to primary schools in peripheral regions of Greece.
For his work he was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit by the Greek State.
Jimmy Jamar has written several books, one of which "Letters to Lord Byron. Thoughts on Greece yesterday, today and tomorrow" has been translated into Greek and was published by Lorandou Publications.
