Pelekas hotel management΄s response to the work stoppage

CORFU. Mayor Hotels and Resorts has issued a statement to give its side of things regarding the work stoppage at Pelekas Monastery on 17 October.
On Monday 15 October the Corfu Hotel Employees Union and the Pelekas Hotel union both announced that there would be work stoppages at the aforementioned hotel.
In the belief that these stoppages were against the law, as was our right, we appealed to the Court which, following the proper procedure in such cases, returned a verdict in our favour and declared the strike illegal as the union board didn't have the right to take this action without a decision coming from the general assembly as required by law.
