TIRANA. Prime Minister Eddie Rama posted a photo of what is perhaps newly-established Air Albania΄s first aeroplane this week - followed by a multitude of comments.
The Albanian national airline was established with the assistance of the Turkish national airline and its corporate headquarters are located at Mother Theresa Airport in the capital Tirana.
The airline was founded on 16 May 2018 and the managing director is Sinan Dilek, who was until recently an executive at Turkish Airlines. Its initial destinations will be in the Western Balkans - Pristina, Skopje, Podgorica, Sarajevo and Zagreb.
