A feast of traditional dancing in Corfu Town

CORFU. 150 dancers in the historical centre of Corfu Town accompanied by live music.
Residents and visitors to the island had the chance to enjoy a feast of traditional costumes, dancing and live music in the historical centre of Corfu Town.
The Dance Group from Corfu Heraklion (Crete) Cultural Society put on an end of season performance in the square near to the Church of St. Spyridon (Plakada tou Agiou). 150 dancers in traditional costumes presented dances and songs from Corfu, Lefkada, the Cycladic Islands, Western Macedonia, Istanbul and Eastern Rumelia. The Cultural Societies of Sinies and Kassiopi also took part.
