Corfu one of the top Airbnb destinations in Greece with 3,500 active properties

Airbnb is taking over beach properties in six of the most popular destinations in Greece - Corfu, Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Rhodes and Halkidiki - as can be seen in the maps published by Tornos News showing the 25,000 properties available for short-term lets.

The following are based on data available on Airbnb for the above-mentioned destinations:



Corfu

In Corfu there are 3,517 active properties available at the moment according to data in the Stars categories. 5-star: 109 properties (4%); 4-star: 185 properties (6%); 3-star: 490 properties (16%); 2-star: 1,104 properties (37%); 1-star: 896 properties (30%). There are also 200 Studio properties (7%).

85% of the above are whole properties and 15% are private rooms within a property.



Mykonos

In Mykonos there are 2,409 active properties available at the moment according to data in the Stars categories. 5-star: 413 properties (20%); 4-star: 271 properties (13%); 3-star: 349 properties (17%); 2-star: 408 properties (20%); 1-star: 488 properties (24%). There are also 147 Studio properties (7%).

86% of the above are whole properties and 14% are private rooms within a property.

Santorini

In Santorini there are 2,875 active properties available at the moment according to data in the Stars categories. 5-star: 64 properties (3%); 4-star: 65 properties (3%); 3-star: 238 properties (11%); 2-star: 608 properties (29%); 1-star: 1,003 properties (47%). There are also 139 Studio properties (7%).

Kassandra, Halkidiki

In Kassandra - the most popular area in Halkidiki - there are 1,867 active properties available at the moment according to data in the Stars categories. 5-star: 58 properties (3%); 4-star: 152 properties (8%); 3-star: 503 properties (28%); 2-star: 759 properties (42%); 1-star: 289 properties (16%). There are also 53 Studio properties (3%).

97% of the above are whole properties and 3% are private rooms within a property.

Rhodes

In Rhodes there are 2,111 active properties available at the moment according to data in the Stars categories. 5-star: 57 properties (3%); 4-star: 172 properties (10%); 3-star: 400 properties (22%); 2-star: 526 properties (30%); 1-star: 559 properties (31%). There are also 69 Studio properties (4%).

There are also 745 Studio properties (7%).
