For umpteenth time rubbish pile catches fire in Roda!

CORFU. Fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning in a huge pile of rubbish on the main road to Acharavi - not far from a filling station.
The Fire Service, led by Efstathios Kardakaris, arrived on the scene immediately and managed to get the fire under control but the area was filled with thick toxic smoke.
The mass of smouldering rubbish at the side of the road can be seen in the photo posted in the Facebook Group 'Your Complaints to the Mayor' by Nikos Tsenempis.
