Fallen branches in the Upper Square following last night΄s sudden downpour

CORFU. There was a sudden downpour in Corfu on Friday night with lightning and heavy rainfall.
At about 11:30 at night the heavy rainfall broke branches off trees in the Upper Square. There was some damage to cars parked in the area.
The police and Fire Service arrived on the scene immediately and removed the branches from the road.
