CORFU. Containers will be rented for all districts so that the island doesn΄t become one big rubbish dump.
Following yesterday's press release from the Cleansing Services, the Corfu Municipality made the following statement:
Due to the closure of the Temploni landfill and the temporary inoperability of the landfill in the south, the Municipality is in the process of renting a large number of containers for all the districts on the island where the refuse can be collected. For this reason, we require the cooperation of all residents and businesses so that the island doesn't become one big rubbish dump.
