Charter flight from Corfu makes emergency landing in Italy.

BRINDISI. A charter flight which had taken off from Corfu Airport had to make an emergency landing in Brindisi on Saturday 5th May.
According to brindisireport, the pilot contacted Brindisi control tower at 09:30.
According to other information, the aeroplane is a Boeing 757-200 belonging to the company Privilege Style and chartered by Condor. It was carrying out flight DE 1679 from Corfu to Leipzig, Germany with 164 passengers and 8 crew. It was at the Italian-Greek border at a height of 33,000 feet when the crew observed a signal indicating a decrease in cabin pressure. The plane descended quickly and landed safely at Brindisi Airport after 17 minutes.
The aeroplane landed at 10:15 without any problems and with the airport on emergency standby. The local fire service had been called to deal with 'smoke in the cabin' but the alert was immediately called off. Passengers departed for Frankfurt at 13:30 on another aeroplane. The original aeroplane remained in Brindisi from Saturday 5th to Sunday 6th to undergo checks.
