Two more auxiliary doctors at Corfu Hospital

CORFU. Another pathologist has been taken on at the hospital, taking the number of pathologists up to nine, providing some relief for the on-call doctors.
An obstetrician/gynaecologist has also been taken on, bringing the number of specialists up to five in that department.
These two departments have officially advertised another two positions in each of these departments, which are at the selection stage at the moment.
The total number of specialist doctors at the hospital has increased by 25% over the last 16 months – 19 new doctors. Another 17 permanent positions at Corfu Hospital are expected to be filled in the near future, which are either already at the selection stage or have been officially advertised by the ministry.
