Excellency Awards from the Corfu Rotary Club

CORFU. On Wednesday 6 December at 20:30 the Corfu Rotary Club will present this year’s awards to the top students from the three Philharmonic Bands and the Corfu Children’s Choir at the Corfu Reading Society.
The choreographer and director, Petros Gallias, will speak at the event on the subject of: "Opera: The Art that unites the Arts". Admission is free.
In addition to these awards, for the second year running the Corfu Rotary Club, in collaboration with the Ionian University presented awards to the top three graduates at the University. The awards, which included 500 Euros for each graduate, were presented at the graduation ceremonies on 28, 29 and 30 November 2017 at the Ionian Academy. The President of the Rotary Club, Giorgos Bouzas and the Vice-Presidents, Zacharias Sousis and Andreas Kalogeras presented the awards to Ms. Marina Theodorou (Department of Translation, Foreign Languages and Interpreting), Mr. Alexander Singh (Department of Information Technology) and Sami Chatziliadi (Faculty of Arts and Audio-Visual), wishing them success in the future.
