«San Giacomo» Cultural Society to Hold Event in Annunziata Square

CORFU. As part of its efforts to promote the local cultural heritage, the Cultural Society ‘San Giacomo’ will be holding an event in the Town Hall Square on Sunday, 8 October at 7pm.
The aim of the Society is to preserve the history and culture of the region through the promotion of local monuments and Sunday’s event is dedicated to those who lost their lives in the historic Naval Battle of Nafpaktos in 1571. The municipal choir ‘San Giacomo’ will sing at the event, which has the support of the Holy Diocese of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontia Islands, the Catholic Archdiocese and is under the auspices of the Municipality of Corfu.
