΄Mantzaros΄ Philharmonic Youth Band Carnival Concert on Saturday, March 1st
CORFU. A special highlight of the concert will be the appearance of the group "Dia Tis Afis," with stage direction by Vangelis Zikos.
('Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society) Embracing the festive spirit of the season, the 'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society Youth Band will once again present its Carnival Concert this year. The programme will feature a diverse repertoire covering almost every musical genre, including Baroque, classical, operetta, light music, and Greek swing.
The concert will feature solo performances by:
- Elena Ristova (vocals)
- Felix Ventouras (piano)
- Nikos Sayas (keyboards)
- Yiannis Koutagiar (double bass)
- Yiannis Patrikios (drums)
- Students from the Youth Section of the Philharmonic Society's School of Melodrama & Musical Theatre, Anastasia Perperidou & Ruperto Salvano
A special highlight of the concert will be the appearance of the group "Dia Tis Afis," with stage direction by Vangelis Zikos.
The concert will be conducted by Spyros Rouvas.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m., at the Corfu Municipal Theatre, with a general admission fee of €7.
Presale tickets will be available daily at the Philharmonic Society building from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Seating will be numbered, and priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
