Major Nationwide Event “Rowing in the Squares!”
The Hellenic Rowing Federation proudly announces the nationwide event “Rowing in the Squares!”, taking place on Saturday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m., simultaneously in cities and towns across Greece.
In Kassiopi, the event will be held at Kassiopi Square (opposite the Primary School) and everyone is invited to discover the exciting world of rowing. The initiative aims to bring the sport closer to the public, inspiring both young and old with the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance that define the rowing spirit.
All residents, schools, clubs, and local organisations are warmly invited to take part and show their support for this wonderful celebration of sport and community.
Together, we’ll send a powerful message: “Rowing is for everyone – All of Greece rows in the squares!”
The event in Kassiopi will also be honoured by the presence of members of Olympic champion Stefanos Douskos’ immediate family.
Free admission – everyone is welcome!
