CORFU. Spianada Square is hosting the 14th Social Solidarity Festival featuring workshops, social activities, and evening concerts until Sunday.

The 14th Social Solidarity Festival of the Alternative Cultural Workshop is currently taking place in the Upper Square (Spianada). The festival began on Friday, May 22, and will conclude on Sunday, May 24. This year’s festival is dedicated to the memory of Yiannis Dimitras and brings together social collectives, solidarity organisations, environmental initiatives, cultural groups, and members of the public in a series of activities focused on information, discussion, and cultural expression.

Today’s programme (Saturday, May 23) includes workshops, collective activities, and information stands from the morning, while the evening features discussions on social issues, rights, and citizen initiatives. In the late evening, the programme shifts to music, with live performances, artistic activities, and concert events that culminate later in a collective celebration.

On Sunday, the festival continues with activities for children and teenagers, engraving workshops for participants aged 14 and above, environmental actions, and presentations of social initiatives. The event will conclude with talks and concerts.
