Children΄s playgrounds in Sokraki, Kobitsi, Potamos & Karteria closed

CORFU. Central Corfu Municipality: Work has not been completed, there are risks for users.
The Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality has commissioned the supply and installation of equipment for parks and children's playgrounds.
The contract is still active and the work has not been completed, delivered or certified. Thus, citizens are requested not to use the children's playgrounds in Sokraki, Kobitsi, Potamos and Karteria for the following reasons:
- They are still under construction and pose risks to users.
- The premises had been sealed off twice and it had been noted that they are unsafe to use, but both times they were breached.
- The facts show that the premises are being used despite the measures taken.
The Technical Services Department is drawing attention to the public, as the Municipality does not bear any responsibility for any incident within these areas, before it receives the abovementioned playgrounds and legally puts them into use.
