Infrastructure Minister meets with regional and local authorities

CORFU. The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Kostas Karamanlis is visiting Corfu today.
The Minister first went to the Ionian Islands Regional Administration Headquarters in Alykes, where he is chairing a meeting with public and production sector representatives. The representatives are expected to present to the Minister serious issues that they are facing.
The following are attending the meeting: Corfu ND MP Stefanos Gikas, Regional Governor Rodi Kratsa and Deputy Regional Governors Zorbas and Orfanoudakis as well as Regional Council President Nikos Mouzakitis.
Also in attendance are the North, Central and South Corfu Mayors, the Mayor of Paxos and North Corfu Deputy Mayor Spyridoula Kokkali.
From Corfu Port Authority, Giorgos Hondroyiannis and Spyros Zervopoulos are present, Chamber of Commerce Vice President Vassilis Spatoulas, the Dean of the Ionian University Andreas Floros and President of the local ND branch Spyros Pantelis.
The Minister is then scheduled to visit Central Corfu Town Hall and the Capodistrias Museum as well as meet with Archbishop Nektarios. This evening he will speak at the Chamber of Commerce.
