CORFU. Veteran players from Asteras Kerkyra football club have set up a blood bank.
As part of its summer activities, the group of former footballers is organising its first blood donation and hopes that all Corfu's veteran footballers will take part - and that it can be done regularly.
The initiative aims to make the blood bank available to all former footballers plus others.
The blood donation will take place at the Asteras facilities in Sfakianaki on Saturday 27 June between 16:00 and 20:00.
