Two arrested for possession of heroin and cannabis

CORFU. Two Greek men aged 31 and 29 were arrested on Monday morning by Corfu Port Authority K9 team and the Drugs Squad for possession of drugs.
Personnel at Benitses Port conducted a search of the vehicle driven by the 31-year-old with the 29-year-old passenger and a package was found with 5.3g heroin.
The 31-year-old then voluntarily handed over a package with 85g unprocessed cannabis at his home.
Corfu Port Authority confiscated the drugs and is conducting an investigation.
