Culture Minister meets with 3 Corfu Mayors at Old Town Hall

CORFU. The Minister for Culture Lina Mendoni met with Corfiot & Diapontian Mayor Meropi Ydraiou, North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris and South Corfu Mayor Kostas Lessis.
The meeting took place at San Giacomo Old Town Hall on Friday morning.
The Culture Minister Lina Mendoni and General Secretary Giorgos Didaskalos are in Corfu for a 2-day visit.
Along with Anna Panayiotarea, Communications Advisor at the Minister's Office, they had working meetings with the island's three Mayors. Both the North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris and the South Corfu Mayor Kostas Lessis gave the Minister memos listing cultural sites and monuments in their regions which are in danger due to neglect and require protection and promotion.
