CORFU. The 32-year-old foreign national appeared before the magistrate this morning.
The man is accused of seducing a 14-year-old tourist girl at a hotel in the Kato Korakiana area on Wednesday 14 August. Said to be an employee of the hotel, he is alleged to have lured the under-age British girl to his room and shortly afterwards the young girl reported that she had been raped.
The magistrate and prosecutor were in agreement that the 32-year-old should be remanded in custody.
