Gastouri Philharmonic Band: Double event at the Municipal Theatre

CORFU. The Gastouris ΄Omonia΄ Band are putting on a concert and there will also be a folklore exhibition.
Gastouri 'Omonia' Philharmonic Band will be giving a celebratory concert at the end of its 120th anniversary year at the Municipal Theatre on Friday 28 December at 20:30.
The concert is being held under the auspices of the Municipality and will be conducted by Spyros Rallis. Admission is free and invitations are available at the Philharmonic Society and at the door on the day of the concert.
Guest of honour will be Carlo Pirola, conductor of the Milan Academy Band. Soloists will be Giorgos Rarakos (tuba) and Spyros Kritikos (clarinet).
There will also be a folklore exhibition in the foyer of the Municipal Theatre with material from Gastouri including old photographs of the Achilleion Palace and the village.
The exhibition opens at 19:00 and admission is also free.
The exhibition is being organized by Gastouri Primary & Nursery School Parents' & Guardians' Association and the Dance Group, headed by Marilena Kanta.
