CORFU. The exhibition ΄The World of CERN΄ will be held in the foyer of Corfu Municipal Theatre for 2 months as part of the Corfu Summer Institute workshops on Elementary Particle Physics and Gravity.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 8 September at 19:30.
On display will be experiments that have taken place at CERN and research into Elementary Particle Physics with photos, posters and short videos.
On the opening day researchers from international and Greek universities and research centres will give guided tours to the public.
Short presentations and guided tours are also being planned for the duration of the exhibition.
Admission free.
