CORFU. Lefkimmi Parish Cultural Society is organizing two days of cultural events on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 August and the Church of Virgin Hodegetria is organizing a fair on Thursday 23rd.
Programme:
Wednesday 22 August
20:00 - Vespers
21:30 - Serenades from Lefkimmi Choir (conducted by Spyros Samoilis)
22:00 - Performance by the 'Mousika Kymata' (Musical Waves) band
Thursday 23 August
07:45 - Matins service and blessing of loaves
09:00 - Celebratory Divine Liturgy
19:30 - Prayer to the Holy Virgin Mary
20:00 - Procession with the icon of the Virgin Hodegetria accompanied by Lefkimmi Musical & Arts Society
20:45 - Traditional dances by Lefkimmi 'Phaethon' Dance Society
21:30 - Awards ceremony for the top pupils in the Lefkimmi area
22:00 - Performance by the 'Mousika Kymata' (Musical Waves) band
There will also be an art exhibition with works by Hariklia Payiati and Styliani Kanta in the Cultural Centre.
