Car falls into river in Potamos - driver safe but says he will take legal action!

CORFU. A driver miraculously survived when his car fell into the river in Potamos on Sunday.
The 70-year-old driver was freed from the car by passers-by, who cut the seat belt that was trapping him.
According to witnesses, the driver was trying to avoid a water company (DEYAK) manhole cover and went onto an unstable part of the road that gave way and he found himself falling into the water.
The 70-year-old said that he was going to take legal action as the road along the river has deteriorated at several points creating danger spots for drivers, with no safety measures having been taken.
