All ΄culinary΄ roads leading to Corfu!

CORFU. The Corfu Food & Wine Festival is in its final stages of preparation and according to the organizers foreign embassies and organizations have shown a lot of interest as well as a desire to participate in the events.
Up to this point, it has been confirmed that distinguished chefs from Russia, Italy and Britain will be taking part. There will not only be international chef, however, as the aim of the festival is to promote Corfu cuisine - which has attracted global interest.
According to the President of the Corfu Chefs Club, Spyros Voulisma, there will be a variety of culinary 'roads' showing not only our own cuisine but also how we have 'borrowed' from the cuisines of those who have passed through Corfu.
He joked about the old fishmongers in the Piazza, where generations of Corfiots could enjoy the smell of small fish frying - obviously influenced by British fish 'n chips!
