‘Watch out for falling branches!’ Municipality warns

CORFU. Due to the forecast for extreme weather conditions (strong winds) in Corfu over the next three days, the Council is warning people to be extra careful because of the danger of branches breaking off tall trees.
These trees are located in the green areas - Spianada Sq., Alexandras Ave., Garitsa Park and the Anemomylos area, the Prison Park etc.
According to the press release issued by the Primary Sector and Urban Green Areas Dept., work crews from the council are at present cutting branches from the tall trees.
