Two arrested for possession and trafficking of drugs

Two men aged 42 and 39 were arrested in Corfu for possession and trafficking of drugs.

The two men were located by officers of the Crime Prevention Team on Wednesday afternoon, 24/01. Three packages of raw cannabis with a total weight of 15.1 grams were found In their possession and seized, along with a sum of 50 Euros.

Following a subsequent search conducted at the residence of the 42-year-old, an additional 8 packages of raw cannabis were seized, totaling 36 grams, along with an electronic scale.

An investigation into the case was carried out by the Drugs Squad and the arrested individuals were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
