Exhibition of sculptures and sketches by Kyriakos Rokos at the Municipal Art Gallery

CORFU. Corfu Municipal Art Gallery will be hosting an exhibition by Kyriakos Rokos.
The award-winning artist is one of Greece's most important sculptors. Focussing on human beings, he works mainly with marble, bronze and wood to create his abstract works.
The exhibition of sculptures and ink drawings - which are completed works of art, not just drafts for the sculptures - will be on display for the first time in Corfu from 14 June to 3 August in the Temporary Exhibition section of the gallery in the Colonnade.
The exhibition will continue until the end of October in the People's Park with three sculptures made from Naxos marble and Volax granite - part of the Municipal Art Gallery's effort over the last three years to establish the People's Park as an outdoor exhibition centre over the summer months. This particular exhibition hopes to allow the public to become more familiar with modern sculpture.
