Loukoumades and music at Corfu Scout Hall!

CORFU. There was a wonderful mingling of music and aromas at the traditional event for St. Spyridon at the Scout Hall at Faliraki.
Young and old gathered around the huge Christmas tree to come together and enjoy 'the Saint's loukoumades' .
The event was organized by the Regional Corfu Scouting Association, Vidos Scouting Centre 'Yokarena' and the Regional Association of Former Corfu Scouts.
Corfu Children's Choir sang, conducted by Christina Kalliaridou, who was honoured for her outstanding contribution to music education. Also present were the Corfu Mayor Kostas Nikolouzos, Deputy Regional Governor for Social Polices Alekos Michalas, leader of the 'Kerkyraion Dimos' political party Meropi Ydraiou, the President of the Corfu Choir Takis Metallinos and many others.
