Pupils and parents block the road in Kassiopi: "Collect the Rubbish!"

CORFU. The situation with the rubbish next to their school has come to a head.
Wearing masks and carrying a banner "Collect the Rubbish!" pupils and parents are trying to get across the huge problem in the area and especially near to the school which is a serious risk to public health.
For the same reason secondary school pupils were absent from classes today and the Parents' and Guardians' Association held a meeting to decide on what action to take.
