NAFPLION. They performed at events for the anniversary of Ioannis Capodistrias΄ death.
The memorial service for the first Governor of Modern Greece Ioannis Capodistrias took place at the Church of St. Spyridon in Nafplion. Archbishop Nektarios of Argolidas led the service, which was attended by - amongst others - the Mayor of Nafplion Dimitris Kostouras, Argolidas MPs Yiannis Giolas and Yiannis Andrianos, Deputy Regional Governor Eleni Panayiotopoulou, Nafplion Deputy Mayors Giorgos Kahrimanis and Kostas Routoulas, local councillors, representatives from Corfu, Ammohosto and Aegina.
Immediately after the service wreaths were placed at the statue of the first Governor.
Along with the Nafplion Municipal Philharmonic Bands, bands from Karousades and Thinalaion in Corfu also took part in the events.
