CORFU. For the 5th year running ΄Faros Zois΄ will be taking part in the worldwide campaign Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Liston will be lit up in gold for all the children who have battled and are battling against cancer.
'Faros Zois' decided that this year the Gold September event will focus on increasing the number of Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors - 'Vision of Hope'.
On 14 & 15 September they will be at Pentofanero from 7pm for anyone who wishes to become a bone marrow donor.
"Let us once again say it loud and clear that we stand by all those battling with cancer in an effort to give them hope for life. We would like to give warm thanks to Corfu Municipal Lighting Department and to Mr. Vlachos for once again changing the lighting in Liston. (Photo: Nikos Giohalas)"
