43-year-old man arrested in Lefkada for possession of archaeological artefacts

LEFKADA. He was found to be in possession of four pieces of maritime amphorae and a small amount of cannabis.
A 43-year-old man was arrested in Lefkada yesterday (15/6) for possession of maritime archaeological artefacts and cannabis.
As part of their investigation, police searched the 43-year-old man's fishing vessel and home, in the presence of a judicial officer, where the following were found and confiscated:
- Four pieces of horned maritime amphorae - 14cm, 16cm, 18cm and 20cm in length.
- 11.6g of unprocessed cannabis.
The man was charged with illegal possession of maritime archaeological artefacts and drugs and taken to appear before the Lefkada Prosecutor.
