Pupils at Afra Primary School write letter of complaint to the Mayor!

CORFU. The 4th Grade at Afra Primary School handed in a letter of complaint to the Mayor of Corfu about the refuse and stray animals.
As part of the school's environmental project for 2017-18, 'Waste management and Recycling', the 4th Grade, along with their teacher, visited the Town Hall and handed over a letter of concern addressed to the Mayor regarding rubbish and stray animals. The visit was arranged so as to give the young pupils the chance to experience how active citizens should act.
The pupils later posted; "We were warmly received by the Mayor's secretary, who told us that the Mayor was abroad at present and promised that we would be able to meet him in the near future!"
