CORFU. On Holy Monday, April 2, the Archbishop for Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontia Islands, Nektarios, paid visits to several institutions,
He visited the prison, the Municipal Old People's Home, the Catholic Old People's Home, Corfu General Clinic and the Psychiatric Hospital - where he conducted a service at the Church of Saint Panteleimonos.
Archbishop Nektarios encouraged the patients to "have courage and faith in our Lord, as only He is the healer of our body and soul. That is why the Church, through its Sacraments gives the Grace of the Holy Trinity to bless the believers."
