CORFU. There have been landslips at several locations on the island such as Glyfada, Ai Gordi, Pelekas, Yialiskari and others.
The continuous rainfall and difficult weather conditions this winter have caused not only road subsidence but also landslips at various points in Corfu - taking with them trees, rocks and even electricity poles. Thankfully there haven't been any injuries.
Driving round the island one can see these open sores that often require months or even years to heal.
