CORFU. The Temploni public meeting, organized by the Temploni Cultural Society, is in progress at the moment.
The Mayor of Corfu, Kostas Nikolouzos, is at the meeting having first visited the landfill under occupation. Also present at the meeting are Deputy Regional Governor Ms. Pandi, Deputy Mayor for Cleansing Services Mr. Aspiotis, Deputy Mayor for Finance Mr. Pantelios, Deputy Mayor for Technical Services Mr. Goulis, Deputy Mayor for Culture Mr. Raptis, Travel Agents President Mr. Kaloudis, President of the Corfu Agricultural Societies Mr. Armeniakos, several town councillors, Chamber representative Spyros Simatis, business representatives and Corfu SYRIZA MP Kostas Pavlidis.
The Hoteliers Union and the Federation of Tourist Accommodation Owners are not present at the meeting.
One Temploni resident lost his temper and started shouting but he was calmed down and the Mayor began to speak.
