Car goes up in flames in Kontokali

CORFU. A car caught fire in Kontokali just before midnight.
According to eye witnesses, the engine went up in flames due to a mechanical problem (possibly a short circuit). Fortunately, there was nobody in the car at the time.
Only the front section of the car was burnt and thanks to the immediate response of the Fire Service it didn’t spread any further in this densely populated area.
