CORFU. Consumers are now waiting for the Winter Sales, in the hope that the discounts are good enough for them to make the purchases they want.
On the other hand, shopkeepers are hoping to see an increase in their turnover – even though there was an increase in business over the Christmas period, their income still wasn’t enough to cover their obligations.
The Winter Sales begin on Monday 8th January and will continue until 28th February. On the first Sunday of the sales, 14th January, the shops will be open from 11am to 8pm.
A reminder that during the sales, apart from displaying both the old and new prices, shopkeepers may also display the discount percentage.
