Correctional Employees΄ Union distributes melomakarona in Corfu Prison.

The president and members of the Corfu Correctional Employees' Union distributed melomakarona on Christmas Eve in a symbolic and meaningful act of love and respect, to both the inmates and their fellow correctional officers.

Once again this year, Corfu correctional employees offered gifts to the people they interact with daily and who together form the small prison community.

The officers extended their wishes to their colleagues and their families, wishing them Merry Christmas and smooth shifts, while for the inmates, they wished health, patience, courage and strength until their release and reintegration into society.
