The Seamen’s Union are collecting gifts and basic necessities for "The Smile of the Child"
CORFU. The Seamen’s Union will be collecting basic necessities and children’s gifts for ‘The Smile of the Child’ on Thursday 14 December from 9am to 3pm at Corfu Port Assembly Hall.
“Our union would like to wish you a Merry Christmas with health, happiness and love and invites everyone, not only seamen, to come between 9am and 3pm on Thursday 14 December, to the Corfu Port Assembly Hall in the new passenger terminal to contribute children’s gifts or basic necessities (not clothing) to the voluntary non-profit organization "The Smile of The Child".
The following items are particularly useful: Long life milk, juices, water, pasta (not macaroni or spaghetti), general cleaning supplies, detergents, disposable gloves, paper items.
We are sure that you will support this effort so that at this special time of the year we can give love and joy not only to our own children, but also to children that need our help and support.
We will be waiting for you – put on your best smile and together let’s light up the Smile of the Child!”
