“Authentic French Paris in Corfu” – From freshly baked butter croissants and Saturday brunch buffets to fine French wines, the Moulin-Dheret family brings French hospitality and flavour to the heart of the island.
Le Rendez-vous opened its doors three months ago in the Mantouki neighbourhood, opposite the ferry port.
A new destination dedicated to French gastronomy and culture in Corfu, Le Rendez-vous invites both residents and visitors to discover authentic, simple and distinctive French flavours, aromas and products.
From breakfast to afternoon brunch
The day at Le Rendez-vous begins with freshly prepared French viennoiseries. Butter croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins, aromatic Richard coffee and iconic French pastries such as éclairs, apple tarts and macarons create the atmosphere of an authentic French café.
For those who prefer savoury dishes, traditional Lorraine quiches, vegetable and salmon quiches, croque-monsieur and omelettes are perfect for brunch or a light meal. Prepared according to authentic French recipes, with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients, they offer visitors a true taste of France.
Le Rendez-vous is not only a place to enjoy coffee and brunch. It is also a destination for wine lovers. Its carefully selected collection includes French champagnes, as well as white, rosé and red wines, perfectly suited to the flavours available in the café and delicatessen, and also available to purchase from the shop.
Behind Le Rendez-vous is the Moulin-Dheret family, who have been living permanently in Corfu for nine years.
With 25 years of experience in the food industry, and following the success of their French bakery in Montenegro, they decided, together with their daughter Ines, to create a place in Corfu where they could share their passion for French gastronomy and hospitality.
“When we discovered this 1831 building in the Mantouki neighbourhood, with its ground-floor space waiting to be renovated and its traditional stone and brickwork, we were immediately charmed by the place. It represents the culture and traditions that are so dear to both Corfu and France, and it perfectly matched our vision.
Mantouki and its residents welcomed us warmly, just as the people of Corfu have done throughout the nine years we have lived here. The hospitality, kindness and wonderful way of life in Corfu have completely captivated us, and we are happy to be part of this beautiful neighbourhood.
We wanted to create a welcoming place where quality coffee, brunches, pastries, wines and authentic flavours come together to create beautiful moments and encounters throughout the day.”
Le Rendez-vous will be open all year round and will also host themed events on Friday evenings and special events for traditional holidays and celebrations.
Saturday Brunch Buffet Every Saturday
Le Rendez-vous will offer an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a set price of €19.90.
The buffet will include a variety of sweet and savoury treats, as well as hot and cold drinks.
