Meligoni Meli wins three gold medals at BIOL MIEL competition in Italy

Meligoni Meli, a company based in Platona Nymfon, presented three varieties of organic honey at the competition.

Greek beekeeping and Corfu’s local honey production earned a major distinction at the international organic honey competition BIOL MIEL, held in Bari, Italy. After rigorous laboratory analyses and sensory evaluations of samples from around the world, the competition’s jury confirmed the outstanding quality of the entries.

Meligoni Meli, based in Platona Nymfon, Corfu, competed with three varieties of organic honey—and achieved a clean sweep: three entries, three gold medals.

The varieties that were recognised for their unique characteristics and purity are:
