About how a mass in the left parotid gland led Danai to surgery. About the second surgery six years later, when the tumour reappeared. About the two recent consecutive surgeries performed at a hospital in Hanover, with the first lasting 36 hours.

Danai and Vassilis have returned to Corfu, while at the beginning of next month, they will need to go to a hospital in Heidelberg, where Danai will have the opportunity to undergo proton radiation therapy that will rid her of her cancer.
Vassilis thanks the public for their invaluable support, while asking for our help for a little longer, as the enormous amount required for Danai’s treatment programme has not yet been raised.
