CORFU.Following the Central Corfu Municipality announcement about the complete upgrade of the Municipal Theatre.
A study for the complete facelift of the former prefecture building has been announced, valued at around half a million euros. This project is part of the National Development Programme (NDP 2021-2025). The study includes energy upgrades, renewal of the equipment and the structural adequacy, as well as the issuance of a building permit and the authorisation of interventions by the Central Archaeological Council (CAC), due to its location. It is expected to be completed in about one year from now and will cost 325 thousand euros plus VAT.
This Regional Authority initiative aims upgrading the entire area, given the Central Municipality's ongoing intervention in the Municipal Theatre.
